Stephen Rose practices in our labor and employment law group. Mr. Rose received his B. S. degree, with honors, from the University of Texas and graduated cum laude from University of Houston Law School, where he was an editor on the Houston Law Review. Mr. Rose is a member of both the Louisiana and Texas State Bars and the New Orleans, Louisiana and American Bar Associations. He has practiced labor and employment law on behalf of management since 1978 and has extensive litigation experience, having practiced before various state and federal courts in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and other states. Mr. Rose has also represented employers before various state and federal agencies, including the National Labor Relations Board, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Occupational Safety & Health Administration and the U. S. Department of Labor. He has represented management in collective bargaining, arbitrations, strikes and in unfair labor practice proceedings. Mr. Rose has developed and presented various supervisor and management training programs designed to promote compliance with EEO, labor laws, and wage/hour, and to maintain a union-free environment.
