Carver Darden Announces Russ Foster as a Member

Carver Darden is pleased to announce that Russell L. Foster has been elected as a Member in the firm’s New Orleans office.

russel-foster-1024x682-776522-edited.jpgMr. Foster focuses his practice primarily in the areas of labor and employment law, as well as commercial litigation. He has litigated and argued a wide variety of matters in both federal and state courts. He also has extensive experience in mediation and arbitration proceedings involving labor and employment issues, commercial disputes, and personal injury. Mr. Foster is active in client and professional education and has presented on a variety of topics, including discrimination in the workplace, the impact of the National Labor Relations Act in the non-union workplace, wage and hour law, and investigations of employee misconduct.

He received his J.D. from Marshall-Wythe School of Law, College of William and Mary in 1995, and his B.A., summa cum laude, from Louisiana State University in 1992.  

He is a member of the American Bar Association, (Labor and Employment Section); Fifth Circuit Bar Association; Louisiana State Bar Association; and Texas State Bar Association.
