Carver Darden welcomes Peter J. Segrist as an associate in the firm's New Orleans office.

Mr. Segrist focuses his practice in a variety of litigation areas, primarily commercial litigation and oil and gas. He has experience litigating insurance disputes, mass tort actions, construction disputes, environmental litigation, fraud actions, and bankruptcy matters.

He attended Tulane University for his undergraduate degree and received his law degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude, in 2013.

Mr. Segrist clerked for the Honorable Judge Patricia Minaldi in the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana following law school. Peter is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana.
