Charles Meeks is an associate in the New Orleans office and joined the firm in 2022. His practice is primarily focused on commercial litigation, representing induvial and corporate clients in matters of oil and gas, property, obligations, contracts, construction disputes, privileges and security devices, and fraud actions, amongst others.

Charles received his B.A. in Music Industry Studies from Loyola University New Orleans in 2011 and afterward worked at a nationally recognized music booking agency in Colorado. In 2018, Charles returned to New Orleans to seek his J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law as a student in the Evening Division, where he graduated magna cum laude in 2022. He was awarded Law Excellence Awards in Evidence and Copyright Law, and his independent study paper focused on Louisiana’s duty-risk analysis and the different roles of “policy” in limiting or barring tort liability. While Charles attended classes in the evenings, he clerked for the firm during the day. Charles is a native of New Orleans and loves art made by those who lack formal training and exhibit poor technical skills.
