Haley Nix joined the firm as an associate in 2015 and was promoted to partner in 2022. Her practice mainly consists of commercial litigation in state and federal courts with a focus on oil and gas and property disputes. Haley has handled matters involving, but not limited to: lender liability, class action defense, trade secrets, labor and employment, insurance coverage, and complex claims of business misconduct, fraud, and civil RICO liability.  She has represented individual and corporate clients in banking and finance, energy, construction, real estate, and a variety of small business entities.

Ms. Nix was a Dean’s List graduate at Louisiana State University where she received her B.A. in 2010. She then attended the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, where she graduated magna cum laude and earned her J.D. and Diploma in Comparative Law. She also received the Graduate Certificate in Energy Law and Policy.
