Matt Duggan is an associate in the Pensacola office and joined the firm in 2023. His primary practice areas are probate, real estate transactions and litigation, business & corporate law, and commercial litigation.

Matt received his B.S., summa cum laude, in Finance and Political Science, from Auburn University in May 2019.  He was a member of the Financial Management Association Honor Society.  He received his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law in May 2022 where he was the Student Notes Editor of the Alabama Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Law Review.  He received Best Paper - § 1983 Civil Rights Actions: Enforcing the Constitution, was Order of the Samaritan; received a Certificate in Public Interest Law, and was President – International Law Students Association.

Prior to joining Carver Darden, Matt held clerkships with Alabama Legislative Services Agency and the Alabama Attorney’s General Office, Constitutional Defense Division.
