While practicing in upstate New York, Ms. Areaux gained experience prosecuting and maintaining trademarks, service marks and brands, as well as litigating trademark and copyright disputes.  Ms. Areaux continues to practice in the field of Intellectual Property, as well as Data Privacy and Computer Software, including advising clients on Privacy Policies and SaaS agreements, and litigating computer software disputes. Ms. Areaux also handles a variety of business and corporate transactions.  Ms. Areaux received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 2014, magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame.  In 2017, she received her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from William & Mary Law School.  She joined the law firm in 2018 as an associate.

Ms. Areaux previously served as a summer extern for Diageo North America in the in-house intellectual property office and as a legal intern in the Executive Office for Immigration Review, Office of the General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Justice.  During her third year of law school, she served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Robert J. Krask, U.S. Magistrate Judge, United States District Court, Eastern District of Virginia.
