Sam A. McNutt is an associate in the firm’s New Orleans office and joined in 2021. Mr. McNutt’s practice will involve a variety of areas to support firm clients and he has worked in the firm’s banking, finance, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights practice group.

Sam received his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Wesleyan University in 2013. He received his J.D. from the Yale Law School in 2018. During his time at Yale, he was a researcher for the Yale Investment Fund and a research assistant for a professor of law.

After law school, Sam clerked for Judge Corey L. Maze of the United States District Court of the Northern District of Alabama and Judge E. Grady Jolly of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
