Louis A. “Trip” Maygarden, III is partner with the firm.  Trip currently works in the Pensacola office, where he primarily focuses upon real estate transactions, real estate litigation, and commercial litigation.  His secondary areas of focus include community association law, business and commercial law, probate administration, general civil litigation and family law.

He is an authorized agent of Attorneys Title Insurance Fund, First American Title Insurance Company, Chicago Title Insurance Company, and Fidelity National Title Insurance Company.  He is admitted to practice in all Florida Alabama states courts and various federal courts.

He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2001 from the University of Alabama, and received his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law in 2008.

After law school, he joined the law firm of Shell, Fleming, Davis & Menge, a longstanding firm in Pensacola, Florida.  During his time at that firm, he presided over a wide-ranging general practice that included both litigation and transactional matters.  He was elevated to partner in 2015, and worked at the firm until it closed its practice on December 31, 2019. 

Trip is a member of the Escambia-Santa Rosa Bar Association, and he advises and serves on several charitable and civic organizations.
