Raymond G. Areaux, a founding partner of the firm, chairs the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. His practice focuses on litigating troubled core software implementations, driving tech business deals in major software development, SaaS and other technologies and leading litigation teams in patent, trademark, and copyright infringement matters, trade secret cases and unfair competition claims. With over 40 years of industry and legal experience, he is a sought-out mediator for IP disputes and other high-stakes contractual disputes. Ray serves as the Adjunct Professor (now in his 27th year) for “Trademarks and Unfair Competition” at Loyola College of Law.
David F. Waguespack practices in bankruptcy, commercial litigation, creditor’s rights, and gaming law. He has represented lenders, debtors, creditor committees, and other parties in complex Chapter 11 reorganizations and related litigation and has served as a Chapter 11 trustee. Mr. Waguespack regularly represents investors acquiring property in and out of bankruptcy. He has handled litigation relating to liens, real estate, construction, shareholder’s rights, lender liability, and other commercial matters.
