Carver Darden Koretzky Tessier Finn Blossman & Areaux LLC is pleased to announce the firm's participation in the Lawyers’ Initiative Giving Hospitals Thanks (L.I.G.H.T.).  Together, law firms around the city have banded together to provide funding to help feed frontline health care workers and also support the New Orleans food and music industries.

The L.I.G.H.T. initiative is part of the Krewe of Red Beans' Feed the Frontline NOLA project to turn money into meals.  The donations that the law firms provide allow the nonprofit to serve thousands of meals to health care workers at area hospitals.  Presently, more than two dozen restaurants count on daily orders to keep their doors open, while out-of-work musicians serve as delivery drivers.  So far, the collective group has raised more than $100,000.

"We are pleased to be a part of this important initiative," said David Waguespack, Carver Darden Managing Member.  "We are honored to provide meals for our front line health care workers during this crisis." 

L.I.G.H.T. now has 30 law firms participating and hopes to expand its support for essential frontline healthcare workers.
