Carver Darden is pleased to announce that Travis M. Morock was elected President of the Northern District of Florida Bankruptcy Bar Association at their annual seminar on September 28 in Destin, FL. This will be his fourth year serving on the board. He is the Immediate Past Treasurer, and before that served as the Secretary.
Mr. Morock is a partner in the Pensacola office and is an experienced litigator focusing on business law and commercial litigation. His areas of practice include banking, finance, bankruptcy, and creditor’s rights. He has handled a range of legal cases including bankruptcy proceedings as an outcome of fraudulent transfers, employment disputes, and business relationship claims of tortious interference.
The Northern District of Florida Bankruptcy Bar Association is focused on promoting professionalism in the practice of bankruptcy law. The Association holds an annual seminar for its members to highlight best practices in the field and promote competence in handling legal bankruptcy issues. The board is responsible for coordinating the event.
Once Mr. Morock completes his current term as President, he will then remain on the board for an additional term as the Immediate Past President bringing his expertise and insight to the important work of best practices and ongoing education for all legal practitioners in bankruptcy law.
