Carver Darden associate, David J. Scotton, recently spoke at the East Baton Rouge Parish Juvenile Court’s event celebrating National Adoption Month. Judge Gail Grover, Judge Adam Haney, and former United States Senator Mary Landrieu were also present for the Court’s special event.

David Scotton joined the firm in 2019 as a commercial litigation associate. As an adoptee himself, David is uniquely acquainted with the process of adoption and looks forward to assisting anyone considering an adoption.  Mr. Scotton’s adoption story inspired an award-winning documentary and full feature film. David continues to advocate for and share his adoption story around the country.
