Stephen Scullin Named NAIOP Gulf Coast Secretary

Carver Darden is pleased to announce that firm partner, Stephen P. Scullin, was recently named to the Board and as Secretary of the NAIOP Gulf Coast.  NAIOP Gulf Coast’s purpose is to support the growth of commercial real estate industry in the Gulf Coast region through effective advocacy of local, state and regional legislation that has a positive impact on the industry. The organization also works to advance the interests of its members on a wide variety of issues and create a strong network for business growth and development.

NAIOP is the leading association of more than 21,000 members with an extensive network of more than 50 chapters across North America that represent the interests of developers and owners of industrial, office and mixed-use commercial real estate. NAIOP provides advocacy, education and business opportunities by connecting members in a powerful North American network in the commercial real estate development and investment industry.

Stephen is a partner in the firm, and provides his clients with practical and cost-efficient resolutions to their complicated legal issues.  His practice is predominantly focused on real estate and financial transactions, commercial lending, and business organizations, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts.  He also advises clients with respect to energy and oil and gas law, solar and renewable energy law, property law, estate planning, and succession law.  Stephen represents individuals, companies, developers, and lenders on a wide range of commercial transactions throughout Louisiana.
