Carver, Darden, Koretzky, Tessier, Finn, Blossman & Areaux LLC welcomes Rebecca D. Areaux and Jacquelyn L. Duhon as associates in the firm’s New Orleans office.
Ms. Areaux focuses her practice on banking and finance matters, including real estate transactions and commercial financings. She recently moved from New York, where she has experience in prosecuting and maintaining trademarks, service marks and brands, as well as litigating trademark and copyright disputes. Ms. Areaux received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 2014, magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame. In 2017, she received her J.D., cum laude, from William & Mary Law School.
Ms. Duhon’s practice is focused on business organizations, commercial lending, financial and real estate transactions and commercial litigation. Her business practice includes corporate, limited liability company and partnership formation and structuring, acquisitions, mergers and general business matters and advices. Ms. Duhon received her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a minor in History from Louisiana State University in 2013. She later attended the Paul M. Hebert Center at Louisiana State University where she graduated cum laude and earned her J.D. and Diploma in Comparative Law.
